Matt Weidler is a project manager and analyst with CO-OP Financial Services with ten years’ experience working in the credit union movement. Prior to his current role leading process improvement and training to enhance CO-OP’s end-to-end client experience, Matt oversaw strategic planning for Evangelical Christian Credit Union as their Strategic Initiatives Manager. He also spent several years leading projects and other key business processes in IT at ECCU. During most of his tenure with credit unions, Matt has represented the movement in Washington D.C. and Sacramento through an active role in legislative advocacy.

Matt received his Master’s in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton, where he also double-majored in History and Political Science for his undergraduate degree.

Matt’s professional accomplishments include winning CO-OP Financial Service’s inaugural $10,000 THiNK Prize for Innovation, being named one of CU Times Trailblazers 40 Below, receiving the Political Professional of the Year designation from the California Credit Union League, and graduating from WCMS with Highest Honors. He is also a certified Strategic Planning Professional with the Association for Strategic Planning, and a Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.
