Humanidei
Tracie G. Kenyon, PCC, CAE (ret.), UW CPC, CUDE, is an Executive Development Partner at Humanidei, the premier talent development organization serving the credit union system. She is the former President/CEO of the Montana Credit Union League where she provided leadership for Montana’s credit unions in advocacy, compliance, outreach and development, education and training, public relations, fee-based services and vendor relationships, and employee benefits.
During her career, she has served on many boards in leadership roles, including chair of the Filene Research Institute, treasurer of Western CUNA Management School, chair of the American Association of Credit Union Leagues and a member of the National Credit Union Foundation Board.
Prior to joining Humanidei, Tracie worked at four credit unions and two leagues. Before coming to Montana, she was senior vice president of dues-supported services for the Utah League of Credit Unions and oversaw the legislative efforts for Utah’s credit unions during the Credit Union Membership Access Act of 1998 (HR 1151) as well as the state-level bank attacks that soon followed.
While serving Montana credit unions, she created two successful collaborative businesses: Montana’s Credit Unions for Community Development (MCUCD) in 2003 and the Montana Credit Union League Group Benefit Trust (Trust) in 2007. MCUCD, a 501(c)3, provides turnkey social mission programs through Montana’s credit unions focused primarily on financial capability and asset building. The Trust provides credit union employee benefits such as health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance through a self-funded, cooperative environment.
Tracie has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western Oregon State University, master’s degree in Professional Communication from Westminster College, Credit Union Management Certificate from Mt. Hood Community College, and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Certified Professional Coaching program (UW CPC). In addition, she holds the following certifications: PCC (Professional Certified Coach from the International Coaching Federation), CAE (ret.) (Certified Association Executive from the American Society of Association Executives), and CUDE (Credit Union Development Educator from the National Credit Union Foundation). She is married to Vocal Credit Union CEO, Eddie Black, and has one daughter, Kylie Bea, a recent graduate of the University of Montana who started her career working at a credit union.
