John established The CEO Corner in 2014 as a forum to enlighten and inspire leaders on improving personal and organizational performance.
John’s leadership journey spans over 40 years in executive roles leading the nation’s largest credit unions and CUSOs. At Logix Credit Union, John spent 14 years in executive positions spanning sales, operations, wealth management, insurance, and lending. He was the President & CEO of Partners Federal Credit Union for 17 years lifting its performance from the bottom decile to the top among peers for well over a decade while growing assets under management five-fold. He most recently spent four years as the President of Nymbus CUSO and Chief Growth Officer of Nymbus, Inc.
During these 40 years, John also served on the Board of Directors of some of the largest and most impactful organizations in the credit union industry – COOP Financial and PSCU (now Velara), CUNA, and NACUSO. He is currently a strategic advisor for FinTech’s Nymbus, Inc. and AKUVO.
John’s passion for personal development extends beyond earning a master’s degree from the Peter Drucker Graduate School of Business at Claremont College. He attended executive development programs at Stanford, Harvard, M.I.T., and the University of Toronto. His passion for continuous learning led him to attend Western CUNA Management School where he now teaches courses on strategy and technology.
He is also the author of three business books – The Partnership Advantage, Doing What Matters, Constellations, and the host of C-Suite Interviews.
